A Baby Shower!

Today we had Amy's baby shower! I went completely untraditional with the colors being pink and brown!
I had decided for food I wanted to do different kinds of kabobs! We had a pizza, cheese and sausage, mexican, fruit, and strawberry shortcake kabobs! Just to make them festive we (and when I say "we" I mean Mark) cut some of the ingredients out with these cute little animal shapes! Of course the shower would not be complete with out some Misty cupcakes (they are the best in the entire world)!! We had chocolate and white!
Amy got lots of very girlie things! The blanket she is holding is one of the last blankets my Grandma crochet before her hands got to weak...she is lucky that it is girl colors otherwise it would have been mine! She also got a bassinet, a baby bath, lots of blankets, clothes, bottles and other baby stuff!
I think it turned out nice and I hope everyone else enjoyed themselves!

Awww, what a cute boy Sawyer is (commenting on 2 posts in one. lol) Very helpful. It looks like Amy's shower was wonderful. I really like the idea of the kabobs. I have to help throw a shower for my SIl in September and I just might steal your idea. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
