Meeting Baby Dakota!

Yesterday we met up with my friend Amy to catch up and meet her new little girl Dakota!
Her mom works in Martin City so we just met up there! The store is called Latin America something?, but there is a bead store (Beadz Galore) inside the store and it was awesome! They have so many beads, I am going to be taking some of there free jewelry classes to learn to make things with pretty beads I bought!
Sawyer of course, loved all over little Dakota, who is 7 weeks! He was a little confused when we got there because I told him we were going to see Amy and her baby, so he was thinking it would be his Aunt Amy and Baby Annabelle! Amy also has a 19 month old little boy, so next time we get together hopefully he (Tristan) can be there!

The Little Drummer Boy!

Sunday JuJu and Cassie came over and brought Sawyer more Christmas presents!
They gave him the cutest little wagon (that I will probably be stealing for a decoration) and a set of musical instruments! He got a drum (with sticks), a tamborine, a egg shaker thing, a bell thing, and something else that I havent the slightest clue as to what to call it, so it just a thing!
He loved it! His favorite thing is to use the sticks on the tamborine, that way he gets the drum sound with bells!

Our Christmas!

We started the day about 7am when Sawyer got to see what Santa brought him! His big present was a kitchen for his room, Mark had put it together the night before so it was just sitting there surrounded by his wrapped presents and stocking! He was so funny when he opened his presents because he stuck his tongue out!
After finishing up we all got ready and headed over to my mom's for our traditional christmas breakfast of cinnamon rolls! We waited for Kent, Amy and there kids to get there and than opened more presents! A little while later Kerry, Schaun and the girls got there and yep...we opened even more presents! It was so much fun watching all the kids open there gifts! They just get so excited!
We had a nice lunch that my mom made and some dessert, than headed home, we still had some celebrating to do with Mark's sister!
So Jennifer came over and we exchanged gifts with her, let Sawyer open the gifts from Mark and I, ate some dinner, and than spent the evening opening the toys from there boxes!
I would have to say it was a very merry christmas for us and we hope it was for you too!

Cookie Baking!

Sunday I made 10 dozen cookies (from scratch) for my cookie exchange and Sawyer helped! He helped me open the chocolate bark and he helped stir! His reward for this was getting to lick the cool whip bowl, which he very much enjoyed!

Not Alot Going On!

I do not know where I have been for a couple of week, because I have not had alot going on!
I have been finishing up Christmas shopping and wrapping presents! I am so excited for Christmas morning and watching Sawyer open his presents!
Last Sunday we celebrated my nephews 3rd birthday at the Flip Zone! I cant believe how big he is getting!
Speaking of my nephew, after meeting up with Amy for some shopping yesterday, she brought Annabelle and Noah over for a little while, which was fun!
Tomorrow I have my annual cookie exchange with my friends, which I am also excited about, except that I have to make 11 dozen cookies today! But the girl time will be nice!
I have moved Sawyer full-time in to our bed at night, it is the only way he does not have night terrors!
I was thinking about scrapbooking something today!
That's all!

Snow Time!

Since it was not quite as cold as I thought it was, I went outside with Sawyer, Karen, Alexnader and Landon! We just went to my front yard and slid down the tiny slope in front of my house, but the boys still had fun! I think Sawyer looked so cute in his snow suit!

All Dressed Up and No Where To Go!

This morning Sawyer came out of his bedroom telling me he was dressed and ready to go bye-bye! He was a little heartbroken when I told him it was too cold to go anywhere!
My friend Karen took her boys sledding today (since there was no school) and she kept telling me how much fun it was. I explained to her that I would run into a burning building to save my little boy, I would take a bullet for him, I would do just about anything for him, except take him out into the cold, horrible, stupid snow!
So she decided that after her boys nap she is going to come over and take him out for me! So I may get some snow photos after all! His Grandma bought him a nice red and black snow suit that he can wear!

What's Been Going On!

Not alot!

**Got alot of christmas shopping done...I only have the hard people left...aka..Amy!

**Oops, that reminds me I should be emailing Amy a link right now!

**Can you see in one of my pics that Sawyer is eating his chips with ketchup, he definitely has some Tuttle in him!
**Sawyer thinks that all weather (snow, wind, etc) is called rain.
**After spending the last 5 or 6 years looking for my friend Cathy, I finally found her! Aren't we cute?
**Some days I really miss my Grandma.
**I can not wait for the cookie exchange with my friend's, I need some girl time!
**I am still trying to figure out why Sawyer will not go to bed at night?!
**I am happy that I have had some time to scrap lately!

Thangsgiving!

Since Thanksgiving was days ago, I figured it was about time I posted!

Our day started out good, we got up, got the turkey in, ate some breakfast, and I got in the shower. While in the shower we lost power! Yep, for an hour and a half (and our turkey in the oven) we had no power! It all worked out ok since Mark's parents did not get here until after one, which worked out good for me since that meant I only had to spend a couple of hours with them! They brought Sawyer this rocking chair that I guess was Mark's when he was little! Even though it was from them I thought it was cute and just Sawyer's size!
Since someone always gets a photo of Mark sleeping, I could not resist this photo of Kent sleeping!
After we ate at my house we headed over to Kent and Amy's. We got there just in time for dessert! Amy had made lots of pies, but of course I stuck with the traditional apple!
We hung out there for awhile than headed over to Karen and Tom's! Of course I had to have some of Tom's apple dessert there to!
Than home to bed!

Fun Times!

This morning my sil Amy needed to run some errands so she brought all her little people over to my house! The boys had a blast playing together and I got to spend some time with my new little niece! Of course Sawyer was so excited to see the baby and had to hug and kiss all over her!
