New Layout!

I just finished this one! These are photo's from the day we brought Sawyerbaby home! It was so cold that day...only 14 degrees! We had that poor lil boy so bundled up! That was probably the most stressed I have ever been in a vehicle! The roads were so slick, I was still in pain from the delivery, and I just did not think I was ready to take this baby home!
But we made it. I did fine. All is good!

bubble gum

Sawyer thinks that me chewing gum is so funny! Tonight I was blowing a bubble (just to entertain him) and he reached over and took a big bite right out of my bubble!

What a mess!

Sawyer decided he did not want me to feed him this morning...so i gave him the bowl...and boy did he have fun! My mother would have been so disgusted at the mess he made!

MiniMark

For some reason Mark wears a lot of Hawaiian print shirts....so when I found this shirt in the box of clothes that Amy brought over I knew Sawyer had to wear it! So now...not only does Sawyer look like his Daddy...he can dress like him too!

A true story...

King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death. The question?...What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged. The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first. The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc . He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus: What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life. Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding. The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half. Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day.... or night? Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments? Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life. I would end it here but cynical people added the so-called 'moral of the story............... Now....what is the moral to this story?
The moral is...... If you don't let a woman have her own way . . Things are going to get ugly!

Noahbug photos

I never seem to have photos of Noah...so today I got some cute action shots of playing! He is such a little cutie with his crazy hair!

Playing with Sawyer

Kameron loves to play with little Sawyer. He is so gentle and sweet to Sawyer...one of his favorite things to do is surround Sawyer with toys to play with!

When Kameron came over today Sawyer was in his excersaucer...but that did not stop Kameron from surrounding him with toys!

Our visitors!

Today Amy, Kam and Noah came for a little visit! They brought Sawyer some fall clothes and Amy had me for a scavenger hunt swap (a scrapbook thing) and so I got an awesome bag of goodies!

Sawyer had lots of fun playing with the boys!

Silly Silly Becca!

Most little kids ask for candy and cookies...not Becca...she wants lettuce! Her she is at lunch with her big ole' salad chewing on a tomato!

Notice that she has the salad in front of her and not her plate of pizza and french fries!

LEMONS

There is nothing funnier than seeing a baby eat a lemon! Today sawyer got to enjoy one! My mom thought I was being mean b/c of the expressions on his face...but HE kept putting it back in his mouth!

the Cheesecake Factory

We went to lunch today at the Cheesecake Factory and Sawyer had so much yummy stuff to eat! He had bread and french fries...of course he loved them both! As you can see my clever little guy managed to sneak GrandmaKathy's bread from her!

We had a great day!

While Mark went off on his bike to ride for Biker for babies, Sawyer and I went visiting! First we visited GrammaKathy...we picked her up and headed over to see Kerry, Schaun, and the girls! We ALL loaded up in Kerry's minivan...went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and than off to see Big Grandma! After all that excitement we headed home for a 2 1/2 hour nap!

As you can see Big Grandma really enjoyed seeing Sawyer!

We had a very exciting day today!
First Sawyer went and saw Dr. Brigitte and got adjusted!
Next we went and to Kerry's house!
There was a big kids sale going on by her house so went there and got some clothes and toys!
We picked Becca up from daycare, got some McD's and went back to Kerry's house to eat!
While we were there Becca's was nice enough to give Sawyer some of her baby toys!
