Hangin Out With Friends!

Last night we went over to Joel and Cassie's house for some dinner! Prince and Lesley was also there!

We grilled some food, Mark took the scooter and the boys had some fun with that!

Joel and Cas have 4 dachshunds dogs and they had some other they were watching...so I *think* there were 6 total!

When Sawyer was little they were very interested in him...but not so much now! He spent alot of time chasing them around trying to pet them and they spent all the time running from him!

Cassie had fun loving on Sawyer and feeding him cucumbers!

We stayed out way past his bedtime last night! He is usually in bed every night by 8...we did not even leave there house til 9! We thought it would be a rough ride home...we assumed he would cry but he did not! He was a rockstar! He was quiet as a mouse the entire way and went right to sleep the minute we laid him down!

Itsy Bitsy Spider!

Sawyer seems to catch on to things easily!

The other day while watching Barney (surprise we were watching Barnery!) the were singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider...and there he was doing all the hand motions! It is really cute to watch and you can tell when he is doing it that he thinks he is really cute!

Today we are 33 years old!

He *Thinks* He Is Big!

Sawyer is that age where we can not leave ANYTHING laying aorund that we don't want him to get! He will do whatever he has to get to things he wants!

The other night I left my glass on the side of the couch after dinner (yes we eat our dinner on the couch!) and sure enough I get up for 2 minutes and he gets the glass!

So here he is finishing off my water!

The other day Mark took Sawyer outside and snapped some cute photos! I just thought I would share the cuteness!

A New Friend!

On Easter Jennifer brought her friend Cody over...he is a Marine (i think) and had a little break before heading to South Carolina.

Sawyer had so much fun hanging out with Cody! Sawyer showed him his best dance moves ...shaking his dino tail and twistin and turnin! Sawyer also shared his toys with him and strictly enforced his no towers in my house rule...by cleverly knocking down all the block towers that Cody built! There was lots of hugs for Cody too!

We really hope that Cody can come back soon!

Happy Easter!!!!!

Happy Easter everybody!

Today Sawyer woke up and found the Easter bunny had left him a basket of goodies! In his basket there were some Barney DVD's, a book, bath toys, toy trucks, a singing Barney plush and some marshmallows!

After we all got ready we went over to Kent and Amy's for an Easter breakfast...or should I say feast! They had biscuits and gravy, breakfast casserole, fruit, pancakes, cinnamon roll bread, bacon, sausage and juice! It was all so yummy!

Sawyer got another Easter basket there filled with yummy stuff!

Than we hunted for Easter eggs! It was a little cold but the kids did not notice!

Now we are home resting...Jennifer is coming over for Easter dinner!

Hippity Hop Hop!

We went and saw the Easter bunny tonight!

He is not as cool as Santa b/c he did not talk or do anything but just sit there.

Oh well...at least i got a cute photo!

Little Climber!

Sawyer is such a busy little boy!

I am so relieved that it is finally spring so we can go outside and play! I can tell he is tired of being cooped up in this little house!

He is always into things he should not be and climbing on everything!

As you can tell by the photos he is very proud of himself when he triumphs!

Hiding...

Sometimes I will be doing my own thing while Sawyer is playing or watching Barney.

Every so often I go check on him and he seems to have disappeared...which is hard to do since we live in a small house!

After a little searching I can find him in a closet, behind a couch, in a corner, behind the curtain, etc.

I do not think he is hiding from me on purpose but sometimes he really gives me a scare!

New Toy Fun!

I really wanted this toy for Sawyer for Christmas but I only told my sister and she could not find it! It is a Fisher Price Computer Learning System. It sets over the top of the keyboard and when he pushes the buttons, little pegs in the back push the keyboard buttons and causes things to appear on the screen! It has different stages that go til he is 3!

The other day I was at Walmart and found it in the clearance section for only $9!

Now he can finally play on the computer just like mom and dad!

Bridget's Party!

Today we finally celebrated Bridget's 6th birthday! She decided on a Tinkerbell theme!

There was presents, cake, a pinata, and lots of fun!

She got some clothes, a tea set, some art stuff, a princess cd player, cd's and lots more that I can not remember!
