Velma was a strong, supportive and loving matriarch to our family and will be sorely missed. I was there holding my Grandma's hand when she took her last breath on Monday. I was there to see how peaceful her departure from this life was. I know that it was time.

But everytime I think about that I will never again see her or talk to her my heart breaks a little more.
