He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jeff and Gary. Survived by his wife, Caroline of the home; sons, Steve Wright, Patrick Wright and wife Tracy; stepchildren, Michelle Clayton, Michael Clayton and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Justin, Sophia and Michael; brothers, Pat, Mike, Darrel; and sisters, Lynn, Cheryl and Elaine. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions made to the Kansas City Hospice.

My friend's Pat and Tracy suffered a terrible loss last week. Pat's Dad lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. It was a short battle for Carl. They have known for a short time that this was going to happen and they spent alot of time with him but I know that there hearts are broken. There is nothing that can be said that will help them heal...but I hope knowing they have the love and support of their friends is a little comfort to them.

Carl you will forever be missed.
