New Foods...

We have been letting Sawyer try new foods since he seems to be getting bored with his baby food! Last week at the O'Brien carnival he tried marshmallows and this morning he had his first blueberry waffle! He also really likes scrambled eggs and crackers!

Pumpkin Patch!

Friday Sawyer and I met his cousins and some scrapbook friends at the pumpkin patch! Although he was really really tired he still had lots of fun! He played on some of the stuff in the playground (thanks Peggy!), rode the train (thank Kerry!), and went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch! He brought home a little pumpkin that we will decorate this week! Best of all he fell asleep on the way home and stayed asleep for 4 hours!

First Haircut!

Today was a big day for Sawyer! He is 9 months old today! And he got his first haircut! He has been looking a little shaggy for months now...so we finally took him in for a trim! He did fantasitically good! No fussing or crying...alot of flirting with the lady in the next chair! Of course I could not resist taking pictures of the mohawk!

My Brother...

What can I say about him...he is a dork!

Here is sitting playing with his Yoda...I would say doll...but that does not sound right...let's just say his Yoda!

What you can not see in this photo is that Yoda is actually talking to him....you can also not see that the kids were playing all around him, Noah was even trying to get the Yoda....but there was no interrupting Kent and Yoda!

Cotton Candy!

At the carnival the cotton candy was a huge hit! Everyone loved it...but what is not to love about pink sugar on a stick!

Sunday we went to the carnival at the O'Brien house!

Schaun decided he was going to cook chilli...and it exploded from there! He rented a gigantic moonwalk and a cotton candy machine! It was so much fun! A good time was had by all! Schaun made all kinds of food...my favorite was a cream cheese, jalapeno, jelly dip! It was so yummy!

Saturday Night!

Saturday night we all went out to Joel and Cassie's house...we had a little dinner and a few drinks! Sawyer had fun playing with the toys and the dogs...that are just his size!

He did a super good job...we had not been taking him out too much at night. He always did a good job falling asleep wherever we was but when we would put him in the carseat to go home he would wake up and scream the entire ride home!

But he did not do that Saturday night! He was quiet all the way home and fell right back to sleep when we put him in bed!

Dinner with Kent and Amy!

Last night we all went over the Kent, Amy and the boys house for some dinner! Kent made a delicous lemon tomato pasta dish with shrimp and pasta! Amy made a yummy cake!

The boys all had fun playing together...and Kent got to play with Sawyerbaby for a little while!

My Little Stair Climber!

Sawyer has never been around stairs before last night...so when he started climbing up them we were very surprised! He did not struggle the least bit with them! He went right up them like it was something he did everyday!

Funny Faces!

Lately Sawyer is really into making funny faces! He sometimes tries to mimick the funny faces I make at him! We can entertain each other forever doing this!

Even with his funny faces he is still the cutest baby!

If You Are Looking For The Letter A...

I'm sorry but Sawyer ate it! I thought he was playing innocently with his toys..but no...he managed to climb up and get this bag of chipboard letters...spilled them all around him....and ate the A!

It is a good thing he is cute!

Some New Creations!

I made these this weekend! The first is a wood plaque that I decorated with Sawyer's birth day and birth time!

My Hair

One of the most fun things Sawyer plays with is my hair! He loves to eat it, hold it and pull on it! He is so cute when I pick him up usually the first thing he does is reach his hand around the back of my neck and find some hair to hold on too! Sometimes when I am too tired to do anything else I will just lay on the floor and let him go crazy!

Banana's

Ok...the photos are just awful...but it was his first bite of a real banana! He loved it! Of course so far there is nothing that he does not like!
