Big Truck Night!

Last week Lee's Summit Parent's As Teacher's had a Big Truck Night! This sounded like something we thought Sawyer would love, and we were right! They had every kind of big truck you could imagine....and they let the kids sit in them! He had so much fun! He got in every truck and pretended to drive them...of course he also looked for the keys in every one of them! I do not think I have ever seen my little boy so happy or have more fun than he did that night, I am so glad that I took my camera!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

Hoppy Easter!

Today was Easter Sunday, and it was a busy one!

Sawyer awoke to find the Easter Bunny had left him a bucket of presents! he got some crayons, coloring books, bear book, cars, a kite, some DVDs and candy!

Mark's parents came over bright and early and he made them breakfast.

After that we headed over to Kent and Amy's for there annual Easter breakfast and egg hunt! Amy outdid herself with a huge breakfast spread, everything was so yummy! Luckily it did not start raining until after the kids hunted for eggs! (If you notice that Sawyer has on sandels with socks on I just want you to know that was his decision not mine!) Between the eggs and the gifts from Kent and Amy sorry got a TON of candy...which I just let him eat all morning (hey...it was a holiday!) so he was on a major sugar high!

Since my nephew Kameron turned 5 on Thursday we had a little birthday celebration for him with cake and presents!

We went home and chilled out for a little while before Mark's sister came over for dinner! She had another Easter bucket for Sawyer (with even more candy in it)!

So it was a very good Easter and Sawyer completely crashed in my arms at 6! We are really hoping that does mean he is up at 4 in the morning!

What A Week!

And it is only Wednesday!

I usually don't wish time away...but I am really ready for this week to be over so I can start a new one next week!

My baby sitting problem is taking over my life! I just have no idea what to do! At least I am covered for the next week!

Moving on!

Last Friday was my birthday (and of course my brother's to)! I did not do anything special, Mark got home from work late and I really just wanted to go to bed early (especially since my little handsome man woke me up at 5:15)! I did buy myself some scrapbook goodies that I am waiting to be delivered!

Last Saturday my next door neighbors has an appointment to go to and they did not want to take there baby boy out in the middle of our spring snow storm so we got to watch him! Soyboy just loves the babies! He shared all his toys with him and helped give him his bottle!

Riding season has started, not my favorite thing! Generally it means that every nice day Mark wants to get on his bike and go ride, leaving me at home with Soyjoy, and I just don't see why I should always have to be at home while he gets to go out and have fun! The last couple of years Mark has focused most of his time to track days, which is good except for they are on Monday's and that is his day with Sawyer (while I go to work) and that explains my babysitting problem! This year has been kinda nice, every time Mark goes to Juju's house to work on bikes he is taking the little guy with him, giving me time to myself! I am really thankful for this time, I have got to actually scrap (and one of these days I will take a photo of what I have done)!

Some Cuteness for You!

Well....I thought I would share some cute photos, since that is all I have to offer right now! I am still stressed about my daycare situation and have no idea of what we are going to do!

UUUGGGHHHHHHH!

This is how I am feeling about my daycare situation!

I have no idea what I am going to do!

He went twice and each time was a bad experience. I am sure it is a great place and it works out for alot of people, just not us!

So that leaves me lost.

I have no idea what to do with my little boy!

I looked at other daycare but they either want you to do m,w,f or t, th...and i need every Thursday and 8 Mondays out of the year! Plus I am not sure if I am ready for him to have so much structure. They have every detail of the entire day planned for a month! In a few years he is not going to have any choice but to do what he is told every minute of the day, for now I kinda just want him to have fun, doing whatever he wants. I don't know what to do.

On a happier note...the other day (St Patty's Day) it was so absolutely perfect out...we spent the entire day out playing! Alexander and Landon where here too! I bought some sidewalk chalk so my driveway is just beautiful now! We even played some kickball! I was awesome to be outside and I am really hoping that since today is the first day of spring we are done with the horrible stupid cold weather!

Friday the 13th!

It has been awhile since I posted...alot has been going on!

Sawyer had a rough week....I think because last weekend was so busy!

Just about every minute we were on the go! We hung out with the neighbors....well all weekend! Thursday and Friday night we were next door hanging out, Friday night they had there fire pit going and we made smores! Saturday night another neighbor threw a surprise party for her husband and PaddyO's and we went to that....I had a blast! I have not been that party girl since before I got pregnant! Sunday we went to my friend Misty's house to celebrate her little boys birthday!

I think all the running we did, combined with the ups and downs of the weather led to a sinus infection for Sawyer!

When I got home from work on Monday he had a temp of 104. Tuesday and Wednesday he had off and on temp, lots of coughing, sneezing, runny nose and sleeping!

Thursday he had his first day at day care, the first facility day care he has been in! He did alright but I was a mess! When I picked him up he had another temp of 104! He came home and fell asleep and slept thru to Friday morning! Poor little guy! He did do alot better today, no temp...YEAH!

I think it was last Friday that we had an absolutely gorgeous day, so we played outside, that is when the outdoor pics were taken. I posted a photo of Sawyer and his pout, since he has gotten so good at it! I also got some photos of him "fixing" his toy...just like Daddy! The last photo I thought he looked so cute laying on the floor like a big boy!
