FINALLY!

Ok...so it has been awhile since I posted anything...but in my defense...I broke my card reader so I can not download my pics from my camera! Actually I broke three...but whose counting right??

What's Been Going On!

Not alot!

All of Sawyer's friends are back in school, so we have been trying to stay busy during the day!

I started Sawyer back at the flip zone. He just loves that place, and it is nice that he gets to be around kids his own age! Since he is usually the little guy around home with his friends, he always looks small to me. But since being at the gym with kids his own age, I have noticed how much tall he actually is! He towers over the other kids, the closest kid in height to him, he is 5 inches taller than!

We also have a new sitter! Her name is Kelly and she lives just a few streets over. So far he really seems to like going there. He goes there for half day on Tuesday (so I get some me time) and all day on Thursdays. I have been looking into preschools, since he will be three in Jan, so far found a couple I like, just got to figure out how we are going to do this with my funky work schedule.

Very exciting news for me....there is a new scrapbook store in downtown Lee's Summit...The Scrapbook Boutique...and I am going to be designing for them! I will use the product they sell in the store and create lo for her to hang to display, teach classes and make page kits! I am very excited to be doing this, now since it is like a job, I have a real excuse to need to be in my scrap room!

So we have potty training Sawyer, and we told him that if he went a week without an accident we would get him a big wheel!

The other day we were swimming and Sawyer found these goggles, he just had to put them on! He thought he was so cute, he told me to take some pictures, he even did some silly poses for me!

Sawyer loves to dance...and usually he just listens to Barney, but he has taken a liking to Boom Boom Pow song! Not only does he dance to it, but he also sings it!23.

A Play Date!

Last week we got together with Karen and Landon and had a picnic at the park! The boys played on the playground for a little while and than we ate. Sawyer had not seen Landon in awhile so he was pretty excited to get to play with him!

Next to the playground was a little trail, that went over a bridge, around to a waterfall and than out under a gazebo. Of course we had to stop for some photos! Sawyer was so excited about the little waterfall, he kept putting his arms up and saying "look Mommy!".

Swimming!

We have not spent too much time in the pool lately, since it has not been hot out and the rain cools the water off, but the other day the boys braved the cold and jumped in!

I was so proud of my Sawyerbean, he got in his ring and was swimming all by himself! He gets that he has to kick his feet to move and he is not afraid at all of going under!

The Hair Cut....

The last few times Sawyer has gotten a hair cut it has been a nightmare experience! So when I sent Mark the other day to get Sawyer's hair cut I knew it would be a challenge.

Well...I guess Sawyer was so bad that Mark just had them buzz it off! I think he was a little afraid of my reaction, since he called me to warn me first...but once he got home and I saw it...I really liked it! I think it is super cute!

Even better...this we can do at home! No more paying for hair cuts for this little boy!
