Thangsgiving!

Since Thanksgiving was days ago, I figured it was about time I posted!

Our day started out good, we got up, got the turkey in, ate some breakfast, and I got in the shower. While in the shower we lost power! Yep, for an hour and a half (and our turkey in the oven) we had no power! It all worked out ok since Mark's parents did not get here until after one, which worked out good for me since that meant I only had to spend a couple of hours with them! They brought Sawyer this rocking chair that I guess was Mark's when he was little! Even though it was from them I thought it was cute and just Sawyer's size!
Since someone always gets a photo of Mark sleeping, I could not resist this photo of Kent sleeping!
After we ate at my house we headed over to Kent and Amy's. We got there just in time for dessert! Amy had made lots of pies, but of course I stuck with the traditional apple!
We hung out there for awhile than headed over to Karen and Tom's! Of course I had to have some of Tom's apple dessert there to!
Than home to bed!

Fun Times!

This morning my sil Amy needed to run some errands so she brought all her little people over to my house! The boys had a blast playing together and I got to spend some time with my new little niece! Of course Sawyer was so excited to see the baby and had to hug and kiss all over her!

Walk Mommy!

This is what Sawyer says in an attempt to get out of the house! We are not even into winter yet and he is already tired of being cooped up!

I just despise this time of year! I HATE being cold!

So we got all bundled up and headed out for a walk! Of course we did not get far before I was done being cold and made us all go inside! As you can tell Sawyer was not very happy with my decision, Mark had to carry him home kicking and screaming!

My Name Is Chad!

Or at least that is what Sawyer will tell you!
At our class at the Flip Zone on Friday, we start the class off with a little song and than everyone introduces themselves. The instructor always goes first, he says "my name is Chad, what is your name?", so that is why Sawyer now calls himself Chad! He knows his name, he just wont say it! He insists it is Chad!
One of Sawyer's new favorite things to do is get on Mommy's "putor", he likes to look at elephants!
My co-worker gave Sawyer this sit and spin, which he just loves! He "drive drive" on it!

I was there holding my Grandma's hand when she took her last breath on Monday. I was there to see how peaceful her departure from this life was. I know that it was time.

But everytime I think about that I will never again see her or talk to her my heart breaks a little more.

Trick or Treat!!!!

Last night for Halloween we dressed Sawyer as a dragon! We had been practicing all week knocking and saying trick or treat but he did not really get it. Our first stop was our next door neighbors house. He did not even say anything beofre the guy is holding the bowl of candy down for Sawyer to just grab out of! It all started making sense to him at this point! Except the concept of only takin gone piece of candy!
We met up with the neighborhood kids and trick or treated with them for awhile before we headed off in our own direction! We have some friends on other streets, so we went and visited them. We were out for an hour or so before we were all to tired! So we went back home and handed our candy to other kids!
